Sock Yarn P*RN

Here you have it my sock yarn stash. I know people have more but I think this is pretty damn bad. Considering you never see any sock FOs here. I guess I am a collector? This takes up half the couch. So enough sock yarn for 30 adult sized pairs of socks....yeah that's a problem.

The Loot

Had a great time yesterday. I did meet up with Karen and Sachi and we ran into (or I saw and then stalked and introduced myself to) Erin.

Here is what I got! I actually suprisingly didn't spend all my money. I thought I would save some for the LYS tour next month.

Chasing Rainbows Superwash Merino Sock yarn from Crown Mountain Farms in Mary's colorway. I highly recommend checking this shop out. They have very nice items and LOTS o Fiber. Oh I also got a free sock pattern with my purchase. I am not sure if it was just for buying this weekend but who cares free is free.

Fly Dyed Monarch Super soft, super twist, super wash sport weight merino yarn in redwood

and Roses from Angora Valley Fibers

A great basket for my trinkets from Pastiche, Inc.

A matte silver tatting shuttle from Lacis.

And some very cute yarn tamers from Knitters Anonymous. If you see this booth anywhere please go visit this gal. She is very nice, funny and witty and worth your time.

Fiber Feast

I am excited! I am going to spend moolah at the marketplace at the Seattle Knitting Expo with Karen. Hopefully Sachi will join us as well.

Oh and I think Riley is a tad sensitive to wool. The day after wearing it she had a cluster of water blisters on her wrist :(

#6 Quidditch Sweater

FINISHED!!!!!! yes!!!!

I did the collar three times this weekend to get it right. First time WAY too big, second well you can guess WAY too small and third just right.

And of course Riley says "This sweater is itchy, I need to get the pokeys off"

Noooooooooooooooooo! Please tell me my child is NOT allergic to wool! What the hell! This is a knitters nightmare right? I of course am in denial and told her that it wasn't itchy :) Oh and when I first put it on her she said "Where is the vadge!" Good obervation honey. Well the "vadge" that mommy bought would take up your whole little chest honey.

OK Riley wants to sign her name here we go

Babies, Babies, Babies and more Babies!

So I realized last night that I know 4 people that are pregnant and due from May to August. CRAP! Let's getting knitting! I think booties are in order. Although two of these babies get sweaters.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.

I presented Mr. Trout with his sweater.

I still have it. There are a few tweaks in the arms that I need to make. They are moving :( but this gives me an excuse to make a visit when they get settled.

Riley's favorite person Jen came back from her internship in London. We went to see her on Saturday. I have a picture of the scarf that made it to london although I will post that later.

Can I have the camera?
